"Tracy,

Our thoughts about our home remodel:

After many years in the Redmond Washington area we moved to Vancouver and chose to remodel our new home. Doriot Construction was recommended as an excellent contractor for home construction and remodels. We met Sabrina, Doriot’s project manager, and discussed our requirements. It was a detailed and comfortable discussion. Sabrina, Tracy and the team ,listened and made suggestions that improved the project. We feel fortunate that we chose Doriot. We’re very pleased with the completed project and look forward to our next project.

Our remodeling project was relatively small when compared to Doriot Construction’s home building projects. Still, there were many tasks and they had to be completed in sequence for the subcontractors to complete. Sabrina managed the schedule smoothly and efficiently. She performed many tasks invisible to us: we saw only the continuous flow of work.

We remember Sabrina’s Project Management because many parts were new to us and because all were successful. We have our list of those most important to us but not all that she completed.

Sabrina:
1- walked the project with us and made notes and suggestions.
2- supplied names and contacts for appliances/fixtures/flooring/lighting/etc.
3- brought electricians, plumbers, carpenters and others to see the project areas.
4- explained in detail how our project would work and what to expect.
5- introduced us to the software project communication interface.
6- prepared the detailed project notebook including the schedule, pricing and responsible sources.
7- solved problems such as the attic permit and associated rescheduling.
8- performed scheduling and procuring invisible to us. We saw only the continuing flow of work.
9- Always informed us about when sub-contractors were coming to do a task.

We were very satisfied with Doriot’s subcontractors. All were informative, and pleasant in discussing choices and on time. We were especially happy with Harry Crawford whose hard work and enthusiasm was a comfort as demolition began and continued throughout.

🏆 We Have a Winner! 🏆
