Easily do driveway drops without removing unnecessary concrete and save time.

The HMF Driveway Dropper mounts to GOMACO and Power Curber molds and drops as you pour. This can be interchanged between molds as well.

Stop paying extra to fix drops after the pour.
The HMF Driveway Drop Finisher rides on your slipform machine and shapes the curb as it goes, no extra crew trailing behind with hand tools, no more losing the extra concrete from the pour. It bolts straight onto your form mold and runs off your machine's own hydraulics, so there's nothing extra to power.

Same profile, same height, every single drop - however many you're pouring today.

No stops, one attachment:
The HMF Driveway Drop Finisher forming a clean depressed curb straight off the slipform machine.

It bolts onto the form mold and connects to your machine's existing hydraulics. no hand-finishing, no reshaping excess concrete after the pour. Every drop comes out at the correct height and profile, pass after pass.

Every crew knows the drill: you hit a driveway, you stop, you hand-form it, you lose half an hour and the finish never quite matches each time.

The HMF Driveway Dropper mounts straight to your mold, GOMACO or Power Curber, and forms the curb drop on the pass. Bolt-on install, standard hand tools, and your operator's back in production instead of on his knees with a trowel.

Running a mixed fleet? Same dropper, either machine.

Cat 265 vs Cat 275 — which skid steer is the better fit for grading and machine control?

This comparison breaks down the main differences between the Cat 265 and Cat 275, including weight, horsepower, torque, size, operating capacity, fuel capacity, and DEF requirements.

The Cat 275 brings more power, more weight, and more operating capacity, while the Cat 265 is lighter, easier to haul, and stays under the 75-horsepower limit, meaning no DEF is required.

4K Equipment offers Cat skid steer grading setups with multiple blade options, including the Cat GB124 Grader Blade, Burchland LGX Laser Grader, Cat DBS123 dozer blade, and Cat box blade options.

Available setups can be paired with Trimble or Topcon machine control, GPS, total station, or laser systems depending on the job.

CAT GB124 Grade Blade vs. Burchland LGX Laser Grader Blade

These are two of the main skid steer blade attachment options available through 4K Equipment. Both can be outfitted with Trimble, Topcon, or Leica machine control and laser systems with full automatics.

The CAT GB124 is a strong finishing blade option, especially for CAT skid steers. It uses front stabilizing wheels to help with smoothness and stability, integrates well with CAT hydraulics and joystick controls, and is typically $10,000–$15,000 less expensive than the Burchland LGX.

The Burchland LGX uses a skid plate shoe that rides along finished grade while the blade moves independently. This helps keep the blade smooth and stable without front wheels, making it a strong option for tighter areas, moving material, deeper cuts, and compatibility across CAT, John Deere, Kubota, and other skid steer manufacturers.

Both blades do not require high-flow hydraulics.

4K Equipment stocks skid steers, grading blades, GPS machine control, and laser systems, with rental and purchase options available.

A real-world look at how the HMF Driveway Drop Finisher is helping contractors save time, save material, and keep driveway drops consistent on the job.

On this Battle Ground, Washington subdivision, the crew is pouring around 10,000 feet of curb with roughly 170 total driveway drops. With the HMF Driveway Drop Finisher, they estimate saving about 15 minutes per drop and getting another 30 to 60, sometimes even 70, feet per truck when doing a good amount of driveway drops.

Instead of touching up every driveway by hand, the attachment helps maintain a consistent profile from one drop to the next while also making life easier for the finishers. It uses the same concrete mix, keeps the process simple, and helps reuse more of the top of curb material while pouring.

Built for slipform curb molds, the HMF Concrete Depressed Curb Driveway Drop Finisher is made to help contractors pour cleaner, more consistent driveway drops, ADA ramps, fire lanes, and other depressed curb applications.

Installing the HMF Concrete Depressed Curb Driveway Drop Finisher

In this video, we walk through the installation of the HMF Finisher, an attachment built to help slipform curb crews pour cleaner, more consistent driveway drops, ADA ramps, fire lanes, and other depressed curb sections.

The attachment mounts directly to your curb machine form mold and connects to the existing quick-connect hydraulics on your machine. Installation is simple, uses basic tools, and only requires drilling one ½" hole in the mold to secure the attachment.

The goal is simple: less hand finishing, less wasted concrete, and a more consistent finished profile on every drop section.

Key benefits:
• Faster depressed curb installation
• Less manual finishing
• Reduced excess concrete
• Consistent driveway drop profiles
• Quick-connect hydraulic hookup
• Minimal mold modification
• Profile-matched trowels included
• Designed and manufactured in the USA

Currently designed for most Power Curber slipform molds. Gomaco and Miller Curber compatibility is coming soon.

To make sure the attachment is built correctly for your setup, we will need your curb machine make/model and the exact profile of your slipform mold.
