Most people never think about the systems behind the walls. They don’t notice the boiler humming in the basement, the rooftop unit cycling on a July afternoon, or the water heater keeping up with the morning rush. They only notice when something stops working… when the toilets won’t flush, when the office is freezing in January, or when the classroom feels like a sauna.

That’s where we come in. And that’s who we’re looking for.

**Caught it before it quit. ⚡🔧**

The commercial electric water heater at this multi-family building started tripping its breaker. We came out, tracked it down to failing electrical components, and isolated them so the unit stayed running and the residents kept their hot water.

A unit that's started failing electrically usually gets worse, not better. So instead of waiting for it to stop running completely, we sat down with the property manager and planned the replacement on the building's schedule. A new Bradford White commercial electric unit was with new copper piping, a thermal expansion tank, and a new disconnect.

✅ Hot water stayed on until the planned replacement
✅ No emergency rates
✅ No water damage
✅ Replacement scheduled around the residents

Being proactive means fixing what needs fixing now and planning ahead for what's coming. If your building's water heater is tripping breakers, running lukewarm, or just getting up in years, give us a call.

We're Hiring: Commercial HVAC & Plumbing Technicians

When a building runs smoothly, nobody notices. That's the point. At SKM Services, our technicians keep the mechanical rooms, boilers, rooftop units and plumbing systems running so the facility managers we serve can focus on everything else.

We're looking for techs who live our values:

🔧 **Personal** – You know the building operators by name and treat their site like it matters, because it does.
🔧 **Proactive** – You spot the worn part or the weak pressure reading before it becomes a 2 a.m. emergency, and you flag it.
🔧 **Professional** – Clean work, clear documentation, and doing it right the first time.

If you take pride in keeping buildings operating, we'd like to talk.
