⛳ Yesterday was a great day on the course for a great cause!

Assault Chemical Solutions was proud to have some of our crew out at the Bob McDaniel Memorial SPE Scholarship Golf Tournament, golfing alongside employees & owner from Pharaoh Energy Services and engineers from Stephens & Johnson.

Events like this are always a great opportunity to step away from the field for a day, spend time with the people we work alongside in the oil & gas industry, and support a scholarship program that invests in the next generation.

We appreciate SPE for putting on a great tournament and everyone who helped make the day a success. Great people, great weather, a little friendly competition, and a great cause! ⛳

Fall is here…. That means cold nights are on the way, and lower temperatures can create real challenges in oilfield production. 🥶🛢️

As temperatures drop, crude oil becomes more viscous, paraffin/wax can begin to crystallize and harden, and existing deposits can become more difficult to move. That can mean restricted flow lines, plugged equipment, increased pressure, reduced production, and more downtime. Cooler conditions can also make emulsions harder to break, slowing oil/water separation and potentially affecting the quality of your produced oil.

And when temperatures get close to freezing, water and hydrates become another concern in susceptible systems. That’s where having the right methanol program—and having it in place before problems start—can make a big difference.

Last week, our crew completed an acid job on an injection well for one of our customers. The well had reached the point where it was taking twice the normal pressure to inject fluid, signaling it was time for some maintenance.

Acid treatments can help remove buildup and formation damage, improve injectivity, and get an injection well taking fluid more efficiently again.
