🔩 What is a K Building upgrade you think is worth it that people should know? Lean-To's are great, but if you have room just add another bay on. Most people afterwards say: "Should have gone bigger to start." About the same money..

⚫ Team overhang or no overhang? Overhang- Absolutely

☕ Coffee or energy drinks? Just Coffee... Energy drinks taste terrible and all of the adders they put in coffee these days also make it taste terrible. Just hunting the caffeine!

🌅 Early bird or night owl? Not a morning person or night owl... It's a process..

🏕️ Hobbies? Reffing Basketball, Coaching, Golfing, Hangin' by the Pool (nowadays)

🎵 What’s usually playing while working? I'm not much for background noise. If it's during yard work or a morning walk, I enjoy 80's rock or 90s/Early 2000s country music. I mean if it doesn't have a guitar in the music, it's hard to get on my list. However, I do like some Sinatra, Elvis, Glenn Campbell, Johnny Cash, Barbara Mandrell... My parents raised me on a variety!

🥎 Favorite sports team? Lincolnview Lancer Softball
🏈 Favorite pro sports team? Pittsburgh Steelers

🍹Favorite drink? Coke - I mean I try not to keep any in the house or I just keep drinking them till.. they are gone.
A good traditional Margarita is up there!

"It's really cool to be on staff for only a couple years but selling Steel or Structural Bolts for over 30 years as a vendor rep... I can be in many conversations and say, yeah I remember that person or what things looked like back in the 90's here.. The best part of my final Chapter of work is I actually now work for a company that is a manufacturer vs a distributor..
We make our own thing - And if you want an affordable Better, Bigger, Building it should be a K."

A great showing for 2L Providers at the Michigan AgroExpo!

🖊️ Daily Tasks? Heavily involved with any buildings requiring an engineers stamp, design and innovate the future and current ways our buildings are made and manufactured, work closely with governing bodies and engineering firms to get some of our local jobs through the permitting process.

🔩 What is a K Building upgrade you think is worth it that people should know? Upgrading building height and adding a loft is a cost effective way to gain square footage and when done creatively can look really neat.

⚫ Team overhang or no overhang? Always

☕ Coffee or energy drinks? Try to stay away from them but I enjoy both

🌅 Early bird or night owl? Night Owl

🏕️ Hobbies? Woodworking, Fishing, Collecting Sports Cards

🎵 What’s usually playing while working? Rover's Morning Glory (talkshow) or a variety of music ranging from heavy metal to rap

🏈 Favorite sports team? Chicago Bears 🐻⬇️ and Cincinnati Reds

Since joining our team about five years ago as an Engineer in Training - Dillan's always been eager to ask questions and look for ways to improve the engineering behind our K Buildings. Thank you to Elgin Service Center for donating water and delivering it again this year to Delphos Jefferson Band and Delphos St. John’s Band! This will be used in concessions for both schools at the stadium! Thank you to everyone that helped, many adults aren’t pictured. We had a full house and it made for quick work. ❤️❤️🎶K Buildingsgs

Do you remember when these trees shaded the busiest corner at Farm Science Review?

For nearly 25 years, this building wasn't just another exhibit... it was a landmark. Sitting at the corner of Friday Avenue and Kottman Street, it became a meeting place, a lunch spot, and a place where thousands of conversations began. If you told someone, "Meet me at the K Building," they knew exactly where to go.

Looking through these photos from 2010 brings back so many memories. The beautiful trees that once lined the building before disease claimed them, the long porch filled with visitors escaping the September sun, benches packed with friends enjoying lunch, and the original tan and burgundy colors that many will remember before the building eventually took on its familiar green and white look.

As we prepare to auction this historic building at the 2026 Farm Science Review, we're reminded that while buildings are made of steel and lumber, places like this are built from the memories made inside and around them.

Whether you stopped by every year or only once, there's a good chance you spent a few moments right here—at the center of everything.
