Powder coating services - We are a large production powder coating facility with 2 automatic powder lines capable of processing high volumes of parts up to 26’ in length. Our custo

m powder coating lines are designed with quality and versatility in mind; two conveyor lines, and one batch type processing production line to accommodate a range of sizes. These specially designed lines can powder coat parts up to 26’ x 3’ x 6’ with heavy duty hooks holding up to 550 lbs. From light poles to electrical enclosures, our lines can be configured to hold small intricate parts up to large scale architectural components. To achieve proper adhesion of the coating to the substrate, 3 stage or 6 stage pretreatment processes are used. In addition we also provide sandblasting, shot blasting, and surface grinding to remove all old coatings, rust, or scale prior to washing. Coating types - Polyester, epoxy, urethane, and hybrid coatings are available. Specific formulations can be chosen to provide the appropriate abrasion resistant, high temperature, insulation, or corrosion resistant characteristics for a given application. Our powder coating process is AAMA 2605 and AAMA 2604 certified for quality, and standard testing can be performed to customer specifications. Laser cutting services - Our custom laser cutting services offer customers a fast and efficient way to obtain precision cut metal shapes and blanks. Our 3-axis CO2 flying optics laser cutting system has a maximum power output of 2500 W. We can process hot rolled and cold rolled steel, aluminum and stainless steel up to 120” x 60”, in thicknesses up to 0.75”, with an accuracy of .004”. Laser cutting is an ideal solution for economically cutting custom shapes out of sheet and plate without the need for expensive tooling. Industries served – Architectural, Industrial, Agricultural, Aerospace, Stampings, Extruders, Roll Formers, Structural & Sheet Metal Fabrication, Lighting, Point of Purchase, and Welding. Product Applications - Light Poles, Garage Doors, Plows, Aluminum Extrusions, Window Frames, Axles, Automotive Stampings, Roll Formed Parts, Electrical Enclosures, Point of Purchase Displays, Castings, Shopping Carts, Brackets, Enclosures, Bicycle Frames, Hardware, Weldments, and Tanks. Additional services - JIT shipping services are also available as well as additional processing capabilities including, light fabrication work, welding, metal bending, cutting, assembly, packaging, component manufacturing, and delivery services. General terms - Turnaround time is very fast, often 2 or 3 days, and we are equally capable of handling small and large volume production runs. SPECIALTIES

Powder Coating 101: 7 Things to Know

As published by Architectural Digest in “What Is Powder Coating? 7 Things to Know,” Lindsey Mather and Katherine McLaughlin explain powder coating as a dry finishing method for metal, applied electrostatically and then cured with heat (or UV) to create a hard, even finish.

Powder coating is positioned as a strong alternative to spray paint when durability and a uniform finish matter, with the heat-cured coating described as thicker and more resistant to nicks and wear, especially for outdoor metal items. Prep is treated as non-negotiable, typically involving thorough cleaning with a degreaser (and sometimes additional pretreatment), plus masking any areas that should not be coated.
