✨️ summer intern spotlight ✨️

Help us welcome Hillary Klubertanz! Hillary started with us in May of this year as an intern with the sales team. More about Hillary here:

My family owns and operates a commercial farrow-to-finish farm (150 sows currently) in Waterloo, WI. I just finished my sophomore year at Kansas State University, where I'm majoring in Animal Science with an emphasis on Swine Reproduction and Production Management.

While I am with Minitube this summer, I want to learn the process of selling and marketing reproductive tools and technology, how products are made, and the processes of the Minitube labs. In addition to this, I am excited to have the opportunity to visit boar studs and attend events with the sales team.

I chose Minitube because of my background working in factory and blue-collar environments, where I valued consistency, structure and a reliable schedule. I've been fortunate to find that here, along with a much deeper appreciation for the work we do. Minitube is a rewarding place to work because I feel that my contributions truly make a difference, and my role feels meaningful and impactful.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend, watching TV, gaming, thrifting, cooking, and staying active with a variety of hobbies.

Help us welcome Rebecca Sachtleben! Rebecca started with us in March of this year as a Lab Automation Technician. More about Rebecca here:

I chose Minitube USA because agriculture is essential to the future. In high school, I was active in FFA, where I showed animals at the state fair, helped maintain pens and coops, and competed in forestry and food development CDE events.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, camping, and video games. I’ve also gotten into night sky photography, chasing opportunities to photograph the northern lights and meteor showers.

We are still reliving the incredible time we had during our Porcine TechDays 2026 last week! 🐖✨

From our lineup of knowledgeable and inspiring speakers to the meaningful conversations and connections made throughout the event - this year truly delivered. Attendees had the opportunity to dive deeper into the industry with hands-on learning during our wetlabs, bringing concepts to life in a way that goes beyond the classroom.

We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us, shared their expertise, and made this event such a success. The collaboration, curiosity, and passion for advancing the swine industry were felt in every session.

Huge thank you to our global speakers - Ben Linn, Leticia Moreira, PJ Corns, Rudy Grossfeld, Trent Loos, Cory Faust, Rodrigo Morelas, Vance Brown & John Quackenbush.

Help us welcome the newest member of our Equipment Service Team, Ed Weldon! Ed is joining us as an Equipment Assembly Technician. Read more about Ed below:

I chose Minitube USA because the company plays such an important role in helping agriculture grow and succeed through the products they develop. Having worked on a dairy farm growing up, I gained a real appreciation for where our food comes from and the hard work that goes into producing it. It was one of the most valuable learning experiences I had as a kid, and it’s exciting to now be part of a company that supports the future of agriculture.

Outside of work, I enjoy repairing and researching vintage audio equipment, collecting records, and spending time listening to music. When I get the chance, I also like creating artwork and getting outdoors for hikes at Devil’s Lake State Park. I love spending time with my wife and our two cats, Fergus and Rocky.
