Great projects are built through great partnerships.
Set high above Kamas, Utah, this modern mountain residence is a great example of what can happen when architects, builders, fabricators, installers, and material suppliers work together toward a shared vision.
BERG Design developed an architectural approach that works with the surrounding landscape, using a series of low-profile roof planes to complement the natural terrain.
Vitruvius Built brought that vision through construction, coordinating the many trades and details required for a home of this complexity.
Viotell Metal Concepts executed the metal-envelope scope, including the standing seam roofing, ACM wall panels, c-channel elements, and custom sheet-metal details. Their work extended over 13 months and required careful coordination around transitions, penetrations, chimneys, drainage, and snow-management conditions.
The standing seam panels were formed by Viotell using a New Tech Machinery SSQ II roll former with the SS150 1.5” mechanical seam profile, helping create the crisp, consistent roof lines seen throughout the finished home.
We’re proud that Coated Metals Group could play a part by supplying the 24-gauge Extra Dark Bronze PVDF prefinished steel used for the standing seam roofing and custom sheet-metal applications.
Projects like this are a reminder that premium architecture isn’t the work of any one company. It takes talented teams, strong communication, thoughtful detailing, and partners who understand how their piece contributes to the whole.
