Before becoming products ready for new applications, steel undergoes a transformation that begins at extreme temperatures.

At Optimus Steel, recovered steel scrap is melted in our electric arc furnace. The liquid steel is then solidified into billets, some of which continue through the rolling process to become wire rod and rebar.
