At the end of 1Q26, Ideal Industries in Vinton, IA joined Sewer Equipment Company of America as a dedicated Weld Center of Excellence supporting the corporation's manufacturing and assembly operation in Dixon, IL. Ideal began shipping weldments in early 2Q26 and will continue to expand over the coming years. This strategic initiative was supported by the State of Iowa's BIG program, the City of Vinton, and a New Jobs Training Agreement through Kirkwood Community College. Ideal's former owner and CEO, Patrick Lyons, is continuing with the company to manage the transition and ramp-up.
