🔥 Friday + Labor Day Weekend + BBQ = A Pretty Great Day at One Hour! 🔥

We’re heading into Labor Day weekend the best way we know how... with some seriously good food and even better company!

Today, we threw a BBQ for the whole One Hour team to celebrate all the hard work they put in every single day. And we definitely didn’t skimp on the menu. 😋

🧀 Mac & cheese
🙌 And plenty more!

Our team works hard all year long to take care of our customers and each other, so it was great to slow down for a bit, share some laughs, eat WAY too much, and kick off the long weekend together.

⛳️💙 More than $100,000 raised for Edmarc!

We were incredibly proud to once again serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the Edmarc Annual Charity Golf Classic, and we’re thrilled to share that this year’s tournament raised more than $100,000 to help Edmarc continue its incredible work supporting children and families in our community.

🏈 Football season is almost here! 🏈

Soon, weekends will be filled with kickoffs, big plays, good food and plenty of time planted in front of the TV. Make sure your home is the best seat in the house!

🏆 For the second year in a row, we did something pretty special!

One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning placed in all 8 cities for Best Heating & Cooling in Virginia Media’s 2026 Best Of competition!

We’re especially proud of this accomplishment considering no other HVAC company won in all 8 cities. To earn that level of support throughout Hampton Roads, two years in a row, is a tremendous honor.

And we know exactly who to thank for it: you! 💛

Thank you to every customer, friend, neighbor, and community member who voted for us and continues to trust our team. And thank you to our incredible teammates whose hard work and dedication make recognition like this possible.

Another month in the books! 🎉

We held our End of Month Meeting this morning, where we took some time as we always do to celebrate everything our team accomplished, recognize our August birthdays and work anniversaries, and look ahead to what’s coming next.

And, of course, one of our favorite parts of the meeting was announcing our Teammate of the Month! 🏆

Jamese has been part of the One Hour family for almost 7 years and is one of our Accounting Superstars! Her hard work and dedication behind the scenes help keep everything moving, and we’re so happy to recognize her this month.

🔧 Meet the Team Monday: Meet Kala Dawson! 🔧

This Monday, we’re excited to introduce one of the newer members of the One Hour team, Service Technician Kala Dawson! Kala joined us about a month ago, and we’re happy to have him on board.

When he’s not helping keep our customers comfortable, Kala stays plenty busy spending time with his two little ones, ages 2 and 3. And when he gets a little downtime, you might find him at the chessboard planning his next move. ♟️

We’re glad to have Kala as part of the One Hour family!
