Part 1 of my pissed-off rant.

I’ve been getting WAY too many second-opinion calls where homeowners were told they needed a new HVAC system—only to find a repairable problem instead.

At some point, you have to question whether every one of these is simply a bad diagnosis. This latest one involved an elderly homeowner who had three technicians at her house, and what I found afterward really bothered me.

Homeowners deserve an accurate diagnosis—not a sales opportunity.

Watch till the end!!!! This has always been something that really drives me to negative thoughts towards other techs.... Clean up after yourself and show some respect to others, those extra couple of minutes it takes to clean up....it goes a long way! Respect others and their possessions.

This is the process I was taught years ago and it hasn't failed me since, blower motor or condenser fan motor. Only time I've needed one, was when another tech didn't prep that shaft. Even if you use the puller, you still got to do the prep work.

Could have been worse. Thankfully it wasn't. I normally use a wand to flush coils, but it fell off a roof and broke... so me rushing doesn't help with the fact that I usually don't reach in that deep. Got it Closed up though with some 3M electrical tape 🤘🏼, onto the next call.

Fun fact, telling your AC guy to stay cool is basically the same as telling someone they shouldn't eat cookies 😂🤣 Happy Friday all. I do hope everyone stays cool.. because I need a break 🥵...but if you need comfort in this endless summer heat, you know I'll be there.

Sometimes plugs aren't around and I get to bust out Jackery to handle my pump downs and evacuation start to finish with tons of power left over.
