This last weekend we took home 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 for our theme "The Empire Spices Back" Wabash Cannonball Chili Cookoff!!!

We had many employees dressed up to entice people to try our chili including Darth Vader, Obi-Wan, Boba Fett and a stormtrooper. It was a lot of fun and we really loved seeing all the people stop by our booth to interact with our team and taste the "Best Chili in the Galaxy".

Between Star Wars trivia, great chili, and plenty of laughs, we had a blast connecting with everyone who stopped by. We’re proud of our team for bringing the creativity, enthusiasm, and teamwork that made this event so much fun.

We took home several awards, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year!

Until next time...may the chili by with you!

Congratulations to Zach Burk, our October employee of the month. Zach has been employed with Bulldog Battery for 8 months in the Paste Department.

"The team is always so accommodating with new employees, they were always there to help and didn't make me feel bad when I was new." Zach comments saying that he encourages each member of the team to feel supported in their role. "Stick it out and do your best. We've got your back!"

When Zach isn't cheering on his fellow teammates, he will be watching his favorite football team, the 49ers. One day, he hopes to experience them play in person at Levi's Stadium.

Help us congratulate Zach Burk for a job well done!

A strong manufacturer depends on a strong distribution network. Our dealers are at the heart of what we do, helping customers find solutions and keep their operations running.

Georgia Forklift, Inc. recently attended a dealer training which covered the battery manufacturing process from start to finish along with trouble shooting problems their customers might encounter in the field.

Chris Powell from Georgia Forklift shares his experience saying "Now we have the tools to explain to our customers the importance of preventative maintenance and the knowledge to walk them through issues they might face". "I'd recommend this training to any vendor, the plant and sales team was very patient and helpful to make sure all our questions were answered"

Recently, Bulldog Battery was contacted by Steve Ulery of Live Oak Electric with a unique challenge: restoring a 1927 Delco-Light battery.

The original battery was completely unusable, giving our team the opportunity to learn more about restoring these historic batteries and put our skills to the test.

We’re grateful to Steve and the Live Oak Electric team for trusting us to be part of this project. It was a challenge unlike anything we’ve taken on before, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.

Recently, the Bulldog Battery team traveled to Chehalis, Washington, to meet with the Toyota Lift Northwest team for training and support.

What we found was a team committed to serving their customers and a partnership that has stood the test of time.

Bulldog Battery and Toyota Lift Northwest have worked together for years, building a relationship based on trust, communication, and a shared commitment to their customers. Tonia and Curtis Stevens recently shared their appreciation for the partnership and the support they have received from the Bulldog team.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to work alongside great people and look forward to continuing to grow together.

Congrats to Jason Seabolt on being named Employee of the month for September!

Jason has been part of our Paste Department for nine months, and in that time, he has established himself as someone his team can count on. He brings a strong work ethic and a desire to grow with Bulldog Battery, with his sights set on taking on a leadership role in the future.

Jason says it best:

“It’s a hard job, but it’s worth the trouble. It’s a great job with great benefits and a team that really cares about its people.”

When he’s not working hard at Bulldog, you can probably find Jason cheering on his Chicago Bears.

Congratulations again to Jason on this well-deserved recognition. We appreciate your hard work, dedication, and commitment to the team!

A conversation in our office today brought up a question many of us can still remember answering: Where were you on September 11, 2001?

It was a somber reminder of the thousands of lives lost that day and the lasting impact September 11 had on our country. We saw people come together to support one another, help their neighbors, and begin rebuilding a nation in shock.

Today, we remember those we lost, honor those who served and sacrificed, and reflect on the strength and unity that followed one of the darkest days in our history.

Never Forget.

Where were you when you heard the news?

It’s not every day you get the chance to restore a piece of history. That’s exactly what Bulldog Battery is doing with Live Oak Electric and owner Steve Ulery’s 1927 Delco-Light Plant.

Steve wanted to restore the plant, including its original battery, to as close to its factory condition as possible. Bulldog took on the challenge, with custom made battery elements, cells and posts to replicate the originals.

This isn’t simply an old battery. It’s an original part of almost a 100-year-old power system that Steve takes to power shows and other trade shows to share with others.
Our team has put tremendous care into recreating this piece as authentically as possible, preserving a piece of early electrical and manufacturing history for generations to come.

We’re excited to unveil the restored battery to Steve and the Live Oak Electric team on 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟰 𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻.
