In leu of the recent questions, messages & comments, we decided it was time for an update and hello! ☺️
In 2021 we lost the owner and brains behind our business, Tim Hoover. He and his son Sam (the one in the hat) had hoped to build tiny houses for those that desired less stuff & more life.
We couldn’t have predicted that in the coming years after Tim’s death, the economy would tank and the necessity for living smaller would become real for so many.
The lady with the littles is Tim’s wife, Elizabeth! Those are only 3 of her 14 grandchildren, a very incredible legacy Tim left behind.
She’s a designing, flower growing, baking aficionado with an affinity for classic mystery shows and anything related to unique words.
We were all in Waco when we started Hoover & Co, and have since positioned ourselves back in East Texas where we’re all originally from!
Sam and Tara (that’s me! I’m the writer & photographer on this page) have 2 little boys now and still love living minimalistic.
Let’s talk the future :
The reality is, we aren’t building currently and aren’t sure when we would be able to again.
Do we WANT to build again? Absolutely. It’s a dream and goal for us.
But logistically, it doesn’t make sense for our families right now.
Thank you so much for being here. It shows us that there’s still a deep need for Tiny Houses!
