ime. A carpenter is more than someone who can drive a nail and put boards together. A true carpenter can design custom wood work and build it to exactly match the customers desires. And a carpenter can solve complex building problems in any type of construction type. It takes at least 20 years to obtain the skill set required to become a "True" carpenter.
