Iced roads, temps in the teens, Texas winter is here! And, that high electrical bill will be in the mail soon. Use this time to evaluate your home. Heaters will struggle to keep your home comfortable but there are many things we can do to keep the heat in and cold out. Check your filters, and check windows, walls, floors and doors for drafts. A simple walk around and you will be able to feel drafts from windows, receptacle plates, floor cracks and door frames. Caulking exterior cracks and foaming exterior holes can go a long way. Attic insulation is another critical factor. We recommend at least 19 inches of blown in fiberglass insulation for a R38 value which translates to lower electric bills. Call us for a heater check and get a free evaluation which includes a thermal scan of your home. You will be surprised how much you can do yourself to cut that electric bill down. We attached some before and after pictures of a project we just completed before this storm hit. Stay safe and warm!

Happy Valentines Day! A bit chilly but the sun will warm us up as always. Carreon and Sons Services has received notification that our page is being deleted by Meta, for not so clear reasons. One of the most undesirable things a homeowner wants to hear is, "your furnace is dead!" As a licensed company, we also prefer not to deliver such unfavorable news. Meeting of the minds...Quick lunch meeting with my Sons Elijah and Julian. We truly are a family operated business. Our Sons get it done on site with our valuable team members and Mom keeps the paperwork straight. The HVAC industry is always evolving and we have been preparing for the future by completing manufacturing training from Baker/I.C.P., Armstrong/Lennox, Carrier, York, Goodman/Daikin, Gree, ComfortStar, and a few others. New equipment roll outs are starting and will be in full manufacturing mode on 1.1.2025 due to E.P.A. regulations. Choose a contractor who is prepared and ready to handle the new equipment and refrigerant. Do you really want an unlicensed, uninsured, untrained low bidder installing a potential flammable piece of equipment in your home??? Yes, new refrigerants, R454 and R32, are a low flammable risk!!! Manufacturers have modified new equipment and are training licensed contractors on modifications and installation. Give us a call, we are ready!
