OUR CAP PROGRAM HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED IMMEDIATELY**. WE WILL CONTINUE TO PROCESS ANY OPEN ORDERS OR ORDERS FROM "EXTRA" CAPS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN DROPPED OFF. THIS WAS A PAINSTAKINGLY DIFFICULT DECISION. WE THANK EVERY SCHOOL, COMMUNITY AND INDIVIDUAL THAT WAS A PART OF OUR PROGRAM.

We have reached out to Green Tree Plastics which has a similar program in Evansville, Indiana. They are happy to help anyone that would have worked with us. Feel free to email Barb at [email protected] or check out their page which contains the information about their program.

Just a reminder to our groups that are collecting for our CAP Program: YOU are responsible for going through, sorting and cleaning all of the items that come in to be collected for your group! All of these items would break our grinders if one of them got past us! Especially the large painted rocks! The orange bucket was from one of our ga***rd boxes.
We understand little ones (kiddos) may be helping and one or two items may slip by. Please be diligent in your sorting and collecting so we can continue to offer this wonderful program.

We will be closing at 12:00 pm on Monday, April 8th. The opportunity to experience a total solar eclipse comes once in a lifetime, and we don’t want our employees to miss out. We appreciate all that our employees do and in return, we welcome the opportunity to make this a memorable occasion for them.

Last year (2023), we placed our Cap program on hold due to the overwhelming response. The Cap program is a small portion of our overall business, and we reached lead-times of 4-5 months for our Cap Program orders!
We have spent countless hours wrestling with how to proceed with our program. Sadly, the reality is that we do not have the warehouse space, and manpower to sustain the program without making changes. We have concluded that the best solution is to return to the original CAP Program which was focused on teaching children about recycling. This means moving forward the CAP Program will be offered ONLY to Children’s School, Scouts, and Youth Groups (such as 4-H Groups). This REVISED CAP Program will proceed at the beginning of 2024.
For Adult Groups and other groups that have “Extra” caps with us, we will honor the weight of caps that have been dropped off already at our current price. We will not be able to accept any additional caps or make any additional benches after the Extras have been allotted towards benches/tables. If you are not planning to use your extra caps, please let us know so we can remove your group from our extra caps list.

Calling all OSU fans!! Show your support for our local community with Barberton Kiwanis and your love of OSU! Barberton Kiwanis is auctioning off one of our benches in OSU colors that we donate to help support them. The bench will be delivered to the winner assembled and ready to place!
