LOCATION: Sharon Center, OH
NOW HIRING PRODUCTION LINE PACKERS!
2nd Shift- 2pm-10pm.
3rd Shift- 10pm-6am (must be able to train on 2nd)
Wage- $10/hr
Benefits after 60 days (Medical, Dental, Vision)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Check the product that is being made with the Work Order
• Check the inner and shipper labels and verify that the count
and beginning number is accurate with the previous packer
• If there are any issues, please notify your supervisor
immediately
• Assists in start up of machine
• Continuously monitors the quality of product being packed
• Uses hand and wrist motion to pack products into boxes
and/or bags
• Reports any quality concerns to the utility person or
production supervisor
• Accurately and neatly completes production documents
providing enough detail
• Ensures the area is properly set up for the next shift and
communicates problem, changes, start/end number for the
production report, etc. for the worker taking over
• Packs products as described in work order following
company standards in order to meet customer expectations
• Assist utility when line is down (help string up, label boxes,
put finished production on skid)
• Maintains a clean working area- general housekeeping
• Stands for 8 hour shift
• Bends, twists, and turns as needed
SKILLS
• Communication- Ability to inform orally and in writing, with
clarity and good effect. Ability to understand clearly and
quickly
when instructions or orders are received
• Organization- Performing multiple activities at once to
accomplish a goal. Using resources effectively and efficiently.
• Basic Mathematics- Ability to understand and perform
basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Basic Reading and Writing- Ability to read, comprehend,
and write English.
• Possess knowledge of methods, practices and principles
used in the manufacturing of plastics.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be able to meet all pre-employment criteria
• Must be able to stand, walk, and sit throughout the workday
• Must be able to function independently, have flexibility, and
the ability to work efficiently with others
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Must be able to work for 8 hour shift
• Must be able to stand for 8 hour shift
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
