🎉 Happy Work Anniversary, Kerry Brown! 🎉

Kerry is celebrating 11 years with Tuna Construction. 🛠️

Kerry joined Tuna in 2015 as a Laborer and was later promoted to Yard Technician following the company’s relocation from its original Kenner location to the new office in Waggaman. In his role, Kerry plays an important part in maintaining Tuna’s yard, shop, and surrounding property. He also assists in keeping the premises clean and well organized, and he supports various clearing and development projects as needed.

“Boss” just doesn’t quite fit Patrick, and he’d be the first to say it. He sees everyone at Tuna as coworkers, working side by side toward shared success and pride in every project.

At Tuna, “work life balance” is not just a phrase, it is a core value that has been built into the foundation of the company. He leads with the belief that family matters, and that mindset shows up in everything we do!

🌟Upper Pontalba Historic Renovation Update🌟

Tuna Construction is wrapping up the slate roof work, including replacing the upper slate and copper elements and reinstalling salvaged ridge tiles to preserve the building’s historic charm and character.

We are also continuing historic masonry repairs, including sounding plaster, tuckpointing, and historic 3-part plaster replacement to ensure the integrity and longevity of this iconic New Orleans landmark.

🎉 Happy Work Anniversary, Will Johnson! 🎉

This March, Will celebrates 9 years with Tuna Construction. 🛠️

Will started with Tuna in 2017 as Carpenter Foreman/Assistant Superintendent and was promoted to Superintendent. He successfully completed multiple projects for Tuna, including the award winning McMain Auditorium. Will demonstrates his versatility and dedication to Tuna and the entire team by stepping up to support other project sites, specialty assignments for our Express Projects division as well as millwork projects.
