As the threat of wildfires increases nationwide, we’re working to mitigate the risk of fires and protect our local system and the communities we serve. As we recognize National Wildfire Awareness Month this May, we’re sharing a few of the ways we’re working to get ahead of wildfires.

By utilizing advanced technologies, like drones, power line sensors and advanced imaging cameras, we can better detect fires or the conditions that lead to them. By investing in these technologies, we are shifting from reactive repairs to proactive prevention—identifying risks early and addressing them before they become emergencies.
