Running hot water on a combi boiler puts the system into hot-water priority, which temporarily shuts off the heat. Keep all exhaust and intake vents completely clear at all times. Check them before the snow starts and again after it falls. A blocked vent can shut down a boiler, furnace, or water heater without warning.
