Beltway Striping & Traffic Control, based in Charles County, Maryland, is looking for a full-time striping project manager/superintendent to come to grow with us. We are an MDOT MBE certified woman-owned, third-generation striping company servicing the Washington D.C Metropolitan area.
Responsibilities: The project manager/superintendent is responsible for the supervision of the crew. This position must provide leadership through direct and indirect hands-on management from start to finish. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assuring all equipment is properly working, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and OSHA regulations, and strict adherence to all company policies to promote a safe working environment. Must wear proper PPE attire.
Required Experience: The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience. Candidates must be experienced in pavement marking, DOT regulation, OSHA regulations, line painting, lot design & layout, stencil markings, signage installation, wheel stop installation, curb painting, ADA compliance, pedestrian crosswalks & markings, curb, fire lanes, directional arrows, et cetera. Estimating experience is preferred.
Additional Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Valid drivers’ license required. Random drug testing. Traffic control certification through MDOT SHA is required.
Details: The position is available immediately. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday. However, depending on job scheduling, some nights and weekends may be required. Equal opportunity employer.
Benefits & Compensation: Salaried position ranges from $800.00 to $2,000.00 per week, depending on experience and qualifications. Cell phone expenses paid by the company. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Sign-on bonus for candidates available to start immediately.
