Our Story

O’Kelley Heating & Air was conceived in 1967 by Jerry and Dale O’Kelley. Originally working from his basement home-office, Jerry grew the business by providing outstanding personal service to his customers. Soon after, the business relocated to Oak Street in Walhalla SC where it has been ever since. Corey Black started working at O’Kelley as a maintenance technician in 1998, straight out of high school. Corey was a fast learner and quickly grew into a Master Technician. When it was time to retire, it was obvious to Jerry that Corey would be the best fit to take over the company, and they worked out a deal for a smooth transition of ownership. Since 2006, Corey and his wife Melissa have continued to grow the business while focusing on family and community. In 2019 they moved around the corner into a newly renovated office and showroom, complete with a mini office for their daughter Emma!
