Dean Boiler, Inc. is currently looking to fill the opportunity of a Parts Assistant at our Grand Rapids, MI location. This person should be well-organized, self-motivated, and mechanically inclined. The main responsibilities for this position would be looking up and pulling parts for technicians, taking customer calls for parts, shipping and receiving parts, and keeping the parts warehouse in good order.
Full-time, Monday-Friday 7:30 – 4:30.
General Responsibilities
• Receive parts from vendor shipments arriving from common truck carriers.
• Understanding workflow and process including daily tasks such as looking up and ordering parts, and helping with customer quotes
• Vendor communication
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and manage tasks to completion.
• Identify parts requested and provide pricing.
• Work independently while enjoying the benefits of being a member of a team.
Qualifications
• Mechanical aptitude
• General computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Strong Desire to learn
• Excellent Multitasking Skills

As we enter into our 2nd day of our Boiler System Plus seminar with Cleaver Brooks, I just wanted to thank everyone who played a role in hosting & attending this event!

Yesterday we had Tomm Heyboer from KML go over water treatment & today we had Brad Savage go over steam traps - Huge thank you! You guys both knocked it out of the park!!

Covid really threw us for a loop with having one seminar cancelled in 2020, and moving locations 1 week before we hosted. I want to throw a huge shoutout to The DeltaPlex Arena for working with us and putting this together in a week - more so days' time frame! It was greatly appreciated and we loved staying local to our walker neighbors. You guys and your team were amazing to work with!

We hope everyone enjoyed this seminar, and we’re looking forward to our (covid free fingers crossed) 2022 seminar!
