Toms River, NJ Crawl Space Encapsulation & Moisture Control

This Toms River, NJ crawl space had moisture buildup, sagging insulation, condensation, exposed rim joists, and an ineffective old v***r barrier.

We removed the damaged insulation and old liner, installed rigid foam board along the foundation walls, spray foamed the rim joists to reduce air leakage, and added a drainage mat and new v***r barrier as part of a complete crawl space encapsulation system.

The result? A cleaner, drier, better-insulated crawl space that helps keep outside air and moisture out—and the living space above more comfortable.

🏠 Free Home Evaluation Reveals Attic Needs Air Sealing Before Insulation

During a FREE Home Evaluation in Red Bank, NJ, we found that this attic had never been properly air sealed.

After pulling back the existing fiberglass insulation, we could see air leaks around the top plates, wall plates, cracks, gaps, and wire and pipe penetrations.

These openings can allow the conditioned air a homeowner is paying for to escape into the attic. In some cases, the energy loss can be comparable to leaving a window cracked open 4–6 inches all year long!

💡 Remember air sealing should be addressed before adding insulation to help reduce energy loss and improve home comfort.

This attic went from old insulation and air leaks to a properly air-sealed attic with R-60 cellulose insulation.
