We’re in Abilene, TX this week cheering on our daughter as she competes in the Reined Cow Horse at the 2026 Texas High School Rodeo Finals!

We’re incredibly proud of all the hard work, dedication, and long hours she’s put in to get here. Wishing her and all the contestants the best of luck this week. Safe travels to everyone and here’s to a great week of competition, sportsmanship, and making memories.

Just got done digging out these 8 massive pine stumps and getting all the brush and logs burned up.

This site is now one step closer to its next chapter. Stay tuned—we’ve still got plenty of dirt to move and progress to make!

Applications are now open for Texas A&M Forest Service wildfire mitigation grants.

Applications are now open for Texas A&M Forest Service wildfire mitigation grants.

These grant opportunities help private landowners and municipalities reduce wildfire risk through fuel reduction practices and prescribed burning.

Eligible applicants may receive financial assistance for projects that:

🌿Reduce hazardous vegetation
🔥Create defensible space around homes and infrastructure
🌲Support prescribed fire as a land management tool

Mechanical Fuel Reduction grants are available in eligible Central Texas counties and multiple prescribed fire grant opportunities are available across the state.

Kicking off this Friday by moving and burning brush, then digging stumps to get this site ready for a new building pad in Waller, TX.

Rain, rain… go away. We’ve got dirt to move. 😅

With all the rain lately, things have slowed down a little, but we’ve been keeping busy getting estimates out, servicing equipment, and squeezing in shredding jobs anytime the ground dries out long enough to not swallow the machines whole.

This summer is already stacking up with:
• 2 new house pads
• 2 land clearing jobs
• A parking lot project
• An arena rehab
• A brand-new arena build

Basically… once the sun decides to come back, it’s game on. ☀️🚜

Memorial Day Weekend often marks the beginning of summer across Texas, with many people camping, gathering with family and friends or enjoying time outdoors.

As more people head outside, it's a good time to keep wildfire prevention in mind. Dry vegetation, equipment use, outdoor burning and unattended campfires can all increase wildfire risk under the right conditions.

A few simple steps can help reduce the chance of a wildfire:
