When authoring and running a protocol in LabOS, one of the ways you can input parameters is by uploading a CSV file. Specific aspects of your scripted steps can be parameterized, such as volume, source and destination wells, or labware selection. Parameters may also be entered at runtime to modify your protocol-- enabling you to efficiently execute batched runs while ensuring that a validated script is not modified.

A CSV file upload is just one way to input your parameters in LabOS. We also offer volume, number, expression, and string parameters!
