⚖️ Ripple has accused the SEC of helping Ethereum.

🔹 The CEO of blockchain company Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse, said that the US Securities and Exchange Commission helped Ethereum outperform XRP in the ranking of cryptocurrencies. Ethereum has displaced Ripple from the second place in terms of indicative market capitalization due to the actions of the regulator.

According to Garlinghouse, the supervisor treated his company unfairly by accusing it of a fictitious case. In turn, no claims of this kind were made in relation to Ethereum. Garlinghouse has significantly reduced engagement with the SEC, which has stalled the development of the Ripple project.

🔹 The SEC has been pursuing Ripple for several years now. The regulator claims that the XRP coin is an unregistered security. Consequently, the transactions with her were illegal.

🔹 Currently, the consideration of the case initiated by the SEC against Ripple Labs has been postponed to January 14, 2022.
