Is a machine going to sit unused for several weeks or months?

Don’t just shut it down and walk away. Proper preparation can help prevent costly problems when it’s time to put that machine back into production.

⚙️ Clean It Before Storage
Remove chips, dirt, coolant residue and other contaminants that can trap moisture and contribute to corrosion.

💧 Check Fluids & Lubrication
Verify fluid condition and levels, and make sure critical surfaces and lubrication points are properly protected.

🔋 Protect the Battery
For equipment with batteries, check their condition and follow the proper storage procedure to avoid finding a dead or damaged battery later.

⚡ Protect Electrical Components
Keep electrical cabinets and controls clean, dry and protected from moisture and contamination.
