That rust doesn't happen overnight.

This Falmouth basement tank had been deteriorating for years — heavy corrosion across the entire surface, original black paint mostly gone. It was still standing, but not for much longer.

We pulled it out, cleared the piping, and left the space open. The only evidence it was ever there: two small holes in the block wall where the fill and vent lines ran.

If yours looks anything like this, it's worth getting it out before it becomes a bigger problem.

Plymouth, MA job from last week.

Tank was up on a metal stand with supply and return lines running straight through the ceiling. Filter assembly, containment tray, the whole setup.

We pulled the tank, the stand, and all the overhead piping. Clean removal. Done in one trip.

If you've got an old tank sitting in your basement, we're happy to take a look and let you know what's involved.

Wrentham basement, done this morning.

Tank, legs, fill and vent pipes, absorbent mat — all out. Concrete wall fully exposed, floor cleared.

If yours has been sitting there with a mat under it, that's worth paying attention to.

Flat rate. Pay nothing until the job is complete.

Attleboro, MA — this is what “we’ll deal with it later” eventually looks like.

Old basement oil tank, heavy corrosion, residue on the concrete, piping still in place. Not unusual — but definitely not something you want sitting there forever.

We removed the tank and piping in one visit and left the floor clear.

The best time to remove an old tank is before it becomes urgent.

Worcester, MA — basement oil tank removed from a tight corner.

The photo tells the story: years of grime, rust, old fittings, and the wall hidden behind it the whole time.

That is the part people forget. The tank is not just taking up space. It is hiding whatever has been happening behind and underneath it.

We pulled the tank, piping, and fittings so the homeowner could finally see and use the area again.

Attleboro, MA — basement oil tank removed in under 90 minutes.

This one was wedged into an alcove with staining on the tank and wall behind it. Nothing shocking, but exactly the kind of setup that makes a homeowner say, “I should probably deal with that.”

So they did.

We removed the tank, cleaned up the work area, and gave them the space back.

If your old tank is still sitting there, this is a simple problem to solve.

Waterford, CT — oil tank, black iron pipe, and copper fuel lines removed.

This is what people miss when they think the job is just “take the tank out.” The old system is usually tied into the basement in pieces — lines, fittings, pipe, brackets, residue, and years of nobody wanting to touch it.

We removed the full setup and left the room ready for the next use.

Holland, MA — basement tank is out.

This one had been sitting against the wall for years. Heavy rust, original fill and vent lines still running up through the floor. We pulled the tank, disconnected and capped the pipes, and swept the floor before we left.

That whole wall is open now.

$600 flat. Most jobs like this are done in about an hour. https://bit.ly/4vWCOWt

That level of rust doesn't happen overnight.

This Newport basement tank had been sitting long enough that the exterior was heavily corroded and leaving dark oil staining on the shell. The red-tagged appliance in front of it tells the rest of the story.

Once a tank gets to this stage, it's not a matter of if — it's when.

We had it out and the corner cleared in under 90 minutes. $600 flat. You don't pay until the job is done.

Bristol, RI — basement tank is out.

This one had been sitting on its legs in the corner for years. Surface oxidation, old supply lines, the whole setup. You could see exactly where it had been the moment we pulled it — wall markings, pipe stubs, floor staining.

That's a long time for something to just sit there.

If yours looks anything like this, it's worth getting it off your plate. https://bit.ly/4tzYXbB
