I found this on EBay. My Dad started working at Craven & Whittaker in 1940 then joined the Navy after Pearl Harbor. After serving in the Pacific, came back to the company.

In 1959, with 2 kids and a mortgage, bought the company, then changed the name to C & W Co. Still going 64 years later.
