Timber overhangs are highly functional and add a nice exterior aesthetic to a home without breaking the bank. A bonus they are a lot of fun to build and play under.

We got to do another new home this winter/spring for some good friends. Hard to remember to take pictures when you’re busy working but here a few of the process. Finished concrete floor with cut grout lines was done before we framed the house.

Tickets for the 2023 Washburn Emergency Services fundraiser are on sale now! Stop in at the Chamber of Commerce or talk to your favorite firefighter or EMT.

$100 per ticket.

Grand prizes:
1st: $15,000
2nd: $5,000
3rd: $2,500

There are other smaller prizes totaling $2,500.

This year's fundraiser event is on Friday, July 28th, 6pm-11pm. As usual, there will be a band and food vendors. The drawing for the grand prizes winners will be at 9pm.

All great things are built on a solid foundation. Spent the last few weeks preparing and pouring two nice foundations. Ready to keep moving through the projects this winter.

Opening a business calls for celebration. Melissa Martinez, director of the Washburn Area Chamber of Commerce, said that's something new owners in Washburn didn't get because of COVID-19.
