Front-facing solar panels are seldom subtle. But subtlety was the neighborhood ideal, and understandably so. In our story, the protagonist is a prospective solar homeowner who resides in a quaint DC community steeped in history. It was a long road to approval of the solar array placement. However, the will was strong, and SolarSkin ultimately provided the way. Out of all the 30,000 DC homes located in a historic district, this home is now the first to have front-facing solar panels!
