As we welcome 2026, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what an incredible year 2025 was for Anchor Construction Corporation.

This past year, Anchor was fortunate to win several great projects and see one of our own—Baltimore’s SC978—selected for nomination for a significant industry award. These achievements reflect the quality of work our teams deliver every day and the pride they take in building it right.

We also faced new challenges, including navigating evolving heat safety laws throughout the summer. Through strong teamwork and careful planning, we successfully implemented measures to ensure our field crews were protected and supported—demonstrating our unwavering commitment to safety and to taking care of our people.

Significant progress was made on our new training facility at Forbes Boulevard, which we look forward to completing in early 2026. This investment, along with our upgrades to safety equipment—including improved hardhats, gloves, and more—underscores our belief that doing the job with integrity means giving our teams the tools, training, and environment they need to succeed.

2025 was also a year of growth from within. We were proud to see several deserving employees advance into new roles, strengthening Anchor and reinforcing a culture built on trust, accountability, and shared success.

While this list doesn’t capture everything we accomplished this year—because we achieved a lot—it’s a strong reminder that when we lead with Safety, teamwork, integrity, and quality, there’s nothing we can’t do.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited for continued progress, new projects, and even more opportunities to grow together.

Thank you to everyone who helped make 2025 such a successful year. Here’s to celebrating 40 years of excellence—and to an even stronger year ahead.

Doing the right thing isn’t optional.

It’s the only way we know how to operate.

We take pride in the small details that add up to the bigger result.

Because we know that skimming over the little things eventually compromises the whole project.

Integrity on the job is what builds true consistency.

And that consistency is vital for the clients we serve.

They rely on us to deliver predictable outcomes in complex environments.

So we hold ourselves to a standard that sets the tone for everything we build.

It means making the difficult choice instead of the easy one.

It means double-checking the work even when the clock is ticking.

And it means being upfront about what is happening underground.

This approach might take a little more effort in the moment.

But it ensures the final product stands the test of time.

We’re building more than just infrastructure here.

We’re building trust with the people who rely on us.

And that’s how we define a job well done.

The holidays give us time to reflect on the past year.

We’re thankful for a year of progress and growth at Anchor.

And that success is only possible because of people.

We want to thank our clients who trusted us to build their infrastructure.

We appreciate our trades partners and subcontractors who worked alongside us.

And we’re grateful for our team, who put in the effort every day.

They consistently show up and handle the hard work required to get the job done.

So we hope you will take the time to rest and be with your families.

You deserve the chance to recharge before the next season begins.

Wishing you a safe and happy holiday season! 🎄

Culture isn’t something you just talk about.

It’s something you have to prove out in the field every single day.

Real culture is defined by how the team shows up when the conditions are difficult.

It shows in how a Super handles the pressure of a timeline when it changes.

And it’s evident in the way a crew supports each other when a problem arises.

That standard of behavior is exactly what drives us.

And it’s the primary reason we hire for character just as much as we hire for skill.

Finding someone with the right technical ability is always going to be a priority.

But bringing in the right person matters even more for long-term success.

You can teach a new hire how to manage a schedule or read a complex set of plans.

But you can’t teach someone to be honest when things don’t go according to the plan.

We need people who take ownership of the results they deliver to our clients.

And that commitment means we’re placing the best possible teams on every job site.

The biggest risk to a project schedule is rarely the weather.

It is often a lack of alignment between the different teams.

You can have the best heavy equipment and skilled operators.

But those resources are wasted if the communication breaks down.

So we prioritize honest information sharing from day one.

We know that projects run smoother when everyone understands the goal.

And this level of coordination prevents the need for expensive rework.

If we catch an issue early, we solve it before it impacts our client.

This protects their budget and keeps the timeline moving forward.

Real collaboration builds a foundation of trust that lasts for years.

And it turns a contract into a genuine partnership.

Because our clients rely on us to keep our entire process organized.

And they return to us because we respect their time and trust.

The best infrastructure is the kind you never notice.

You likely walk over complex utility systems every single day.

But you rarely look down because you simply expect those systems to work.

That level of certainty is the result of rigorous planning and ex*****on.

So we build underground utility networks designed to perform for decades.

We understand that even a single failure can stop a business in its tracks.

And we approach every project with the specific goal of long-term durability.

Our teams work in difficult underground conditions to install these essential lines.

And we handle the logistics, because our clients have to keep the project moving.

They need to know their projects are built on a stable foundation.

And that they can move forward with their operations.

Because we have already handled the risks.

Real reliability requires a team that refuses to cut corners.

Especially on the work you cannot see.

Doing our job correctly means that daily life continues without any disruption.

And this protects our clients’ investment and keeps our communities running smoothly.

Cutting corners creates problems that return long after a project is turned over.

Doing the work right the first time keeps those issues away from our clients.

And the communities we serve.

Crews move in a clear sequence so no step is rushed.

Work is checked before the next stage begins.

And plans adjust when field conditions change.

So future crews understand what was placed and where.

Details from the design team guide how the work progresses.

And crews use those details to set the pace and confirm each tie-in.

This approach lowers the risk of rework that can disrupt roads, utilities, or nearby businesses.

It also protects project budgets because repeat work does not stack up later.

Our clients and our communities benefit when underground systems do what they need to.

And building it right the first time makes sure that’s the outcome.

Underground utilities protect the places we call home.

They shape how a community can function during hard weather.

During heavy rain, stormwater structures move runoff.

Before it reaches homes or storefronts.

That keeps access open for emergency crews and commuters.

Power, water, and communications keep working.

Because the lines beneath the surface were built for tough conditions.

Most people never see this work.

But they feel it when a school opens on time after a storm.

And when a business keeps serving customers without delay.

Reliable performance starts with design that fits the conditions below the surface.

Trench cuts are mapped so safety and service ties stay clear.

And pipe runs are placed so crews can maintain them long after construction wraps.

Communities count on these systems every day.

They need them to hold up when conditions are tough.

And that reliability is the reason this work matters.

We don’t hire warm bodies.

We hire people who know what to look for before a problem starts.

Who can read a site and understand how every piece connects.

Who make sound decisions that keep work moving and crews protected.

Because skill alone isn’t enough in this industry.

It takes judgment, communication, and accountability to do the work the right way.

That’s what keeps projects safe, productive, and on schedule.

Every person we bring on is trusted to uphold that standard.

From the field to the office, each role matters.

And every decision shapes how the job gets done.

That’s why we take hiring seriously.

We look for people who take ownership.

Who show up ready to think, act, and lead when it counts.

Because the goal for us isn’t just to fill a role.

It’s to build a team that others can count on.

Winter brings serious safety risks in construction.

Cold temperatures, frozen ground, and shorter daylight hours can all affect progress.

Even small issues can turn into major problems without proper planning.

That’s why we get ready for winter work early.

Our schedules are built with flexibility.

So crews can adapt as conditions change.

Equipment is inspected and serviced routinely.

Getting it ready for cold-weather performance.

Surface conditions are reviewed daily.

So we can quickly address safety hazards or schedule delays.

And harsh weather can affect materials and performance.

So our teams stay informed about temperature changes in real time.

This amount of coordination helps keep our people protected.

And our clients’ projects moving ahead.

Because staying ahead of winter means planning for winter.

Careers in construction don’t build themselves.

They’re built through opportunity, strong leadership, and time in the field.

That’s why we focus on developing people from the ground up.

Training starts early through mentorship and safety programs.

To prepare new team members for every phase of the work.

Crews learn what it takes to manage complex sites.

And keep projects moving safely from start to finish.

Those experiences turn entry-level roles into long-term careers.

And they form teams that clients come to know and trust over time.

The payoff goes beyond individual success.

Strong, consistent crews keep projects on track and help maintain the quality our clients expect.

Because when people stay and grow, so does the company.

It’s the foundation the industry depends on.

And the kind of career built at Anchor.
