A long journey for my patient in pursuit of a beautiful smile and proper function. Multiple failed attempts with conventional oral implantology techniques couldn’t deliver the result she was looking for.

We redesigned the treatment: optimized the use of maxillary implants, eliminated the cantilever with an angled implant, and removed a poorly planned implant configuration in both arches.

We transitioned to advanced, prosthetically driven concepts that improve implant distribution along the arch, reduce cantilever forces, and provide a more predictable, functional, and aesthetic outcome.

My patient has been under treatment for more than 15 years, and the upper left molar is failing. In addition, there is a communication with the sinus. Now, once you remove the implant, are you planning to wait two months and perform a sinus lift—which I honestly don’t think is feasible—or would you place an implant further distal with grafting and a sinus procedure, or even a pterygoid implant?

Honestly, I don’t take chances with those situations, and I rely on a zygomatic implant. Do you have the training to perform that?
