For years, the Colony Knights called borrowed fields home. But this spring, they stepped onto their own turf for the first time—a huge milestone not just for the team, but for the entire community. Founders Field represents more than a playing surface—it’s a testament to unity, pride, and the incredible things we can accomplish together.

This field was made possible by the dedication of players, parents, local businesses, and supporters alike—and we’re truly honored to be part of that team. Being there for the ribbon cutting and seeing the field come to life was unforgettable.

With the possible eruption of Mount Spurr and the volcanic ash fall, here’s how to safely clean up your yard and roof to minimize damage and health risks:

✅ Wear Protection – Use an N95 mask, goggles, gloves, and long sleeves to avoid inhaling fine ash particles.
✅ Start with Dry Cleanup – Gently sweep or use a leaf blower on low for dry surfaces before introducing water.
✅ Dampen Ash Before Sweeping – Lightly mist ash with water to prevent it from becoming airborne, but avoid using too much water—it can turn ash into a heavy, cement-like sludge.
✅ Clear the Roof First – Use a soft broom or low-pressure water to remove ash from your roof, working from the top down. Check gutters and downspouts!
✅ Protect Plants & Grass – Gently hose off plants and lawns to prevent ash buildup, which can suffocate vegetation.
