We ground up some trees and stumps here at the pit and ended up with a small pile of mulch. It will work good in the base of your garden beds or for w**d control. The pictures show the size of the wood chips. We are asking $15 per yard or $40 per pickup load. We have about 350 yards total I believe.

Wow, never thought I’d have to deal with this. I know everyone enjoys shopping on Amazon and online, but that is not a place to get your Gravel. You wanna make sure that you’re dealing with a company local to you that understands Alaskan products. Also, they’re a broker they do not own any Gravel so they are buying material from a local place and ridiculously overcharging for products. If you call the local gravel pit or a local trucking company, you won’t get taken advantage of like these people are doing currently to the valley residence. So be sure not to be messing around with these monkeys. It will be expensive. If you have any questions about companies you think might be scamming you please give us a call we are happy to help out.

We have a pile of asphalt Millings. Milling are different than rap in that it has not been crushed. So the size of the chunks can be a little random. It still performs very well. It’s also a little cheaper than rap. We sell milling for $18 per ton while supplies last.

Please ask for prices from a couple of places before ordering material. We are seeing and hearing about people being seriously overcharged for material and delivery. Also right now topsoil is a touch wet. We are just now getting some decent weather so please be patient.

Here is a great video from the operators seat on the process of screening garden soil blend. We use cow manure from the Havemeister dairy, sand, and dirt in equal parts. Huge thanks to Geoff with Alaska Earthworks LLC for the video.
