- Several signs vanished from our worksites in the Juneau and Douglas area yesterday evening. These signs were in place to alert drivers of road crew activity and potentially dangerous conditions, and their removal puts drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and our crews at risk. We have a limited number of signs on hand, they are expensive, and it takes time to replace them. If you know of the sign's whereabouts, please call us at (907) 465-1763 or return them to our Southcoast Region facility at 6860 Glacier Highway. No questions asked. P.S. If you think road signs are cool, they can be purchased from sign companies...
