We installed new windows , I’m not a fan of replacement windows as you can not flash them properly, we like to use a nail fin, remove interior trim and replace. This allows us to insulate and water proof. We left the live edge siding above front door fans it’s in great shape and adds some charm and curb appeal. We also added a gable accent detail. Ready for paint. Jordan and I are blessed to be trusted with our clients home and we appreciate every opportunity we get🙏

Clients wanted black overhangs, fix the front entrance, and give it more curb appeal. When we opened up the soffits we found the previous contractor hid all the exposed beams and took away the character of the home. I suggested wrapping the beams in cedar to bring the home back to the architect’s original design but improve on it. We fixed the major issues with the t1-11 reverse board and batten, enlarged the rakes on the gables and corrected the issues with siding touching shingles and missing kick outs. Jordan and I Can’t wait to see it painted!

Clients wanted Black over hangs with spruce siding, we used .024 thick aluminum to reduce oil canning. Dark colors are tricky but if you pre drill your fastners and keep face fastners to a minimum you can reduce oil canning. Blake is very handy and installed porch ceiling in front and will take care of wrapping his beams and railing. This is the second home I’ve done for him, we did his dads, and a family friend. This property is on 11 acres and dad is building his home on this property. Dad’s siding project is coming soon. Jordan and myself feel very blessed to be asked to work on these forever homes🙏

Our 6th job in Lake Sherwood,we installed new windows , got rid of the arch windows, closed cell spray foam, new interior casing, flash taped, house wrap, new hidden vent soffit, all proper flashing, kick out and z flash with end dams, custom bent aluminum trim, composite trim, new James Hardie siding, paint and gutters coming in the spring!

We added sheathing over the existing foam for a better finish, installed new Northstar windows with nailing fins to properly flash tape the sill and windows with house wrap for air and mostiure barrier, composite trim, continous hidden vent soffit, .024 custom bent aluminum trim, kick out flashing, z flashing with end dams, counter flashing on roof lines, new composite vents, installed James Hardie siding with card flashing at every butt joint! All thats left is paint and gutters in the spring, absolutely turned out amazing!
