What started out with what seemed like a minor repair to replace a couple pieces of log siding on a home that is only a few years old exposed a major problem. This shows why it is so important to choose a contractor with the experience and knowledge to complete your project properly. This was 100% preventable and was caused by the original contractor not understanding how important it is to properly install and seal flashing.

Instead of a couple rotted logs we were called out to replace, we found major water damage and rot to the sheathing, wall insulation and wall framing most the way down the wall near the improperly installed flashing. What started as a minor cosmetic repair for this homeowner turned into a major headache and repairs that was completely preventable.

In the end, we have successfully mitigated all the water damages and repaired/replaced and treated all of the affected materials. We also replaced the flashing properly to make sure this never happens again to our customer. Most importantly, we made sure that this customer was completely satisfied and that we restored their peace of mind and restored their home back to their retirement paradise they deserve.

I know that price is always a major concern for people when they are looking at minor repairs or major renovations.
