If you have hvac equipment being serviced, and a company sticks this on your furnace and then proceeds to pressure you into a new furnace, exchanger. Especially if you have a newer furnace, please ask for proof and get a second opinion.
There is nothing wrong with these CO readings.
There is nothing wrong the heat exchanger.
If you are dealing with a large company, lots of service tech and lots of installers... they will try to sell you new equipment every 10 years, despite most furnaces being designed to last 20 years. Some even have 30-40 warranties on the heat exchangers.
