Excited to announce our keynote for the upcoming OONE Cedar ValleyBBarriers No More Summit and Career Fair EEvette Creightonis the Director of Talent, Inclusion and Diversity at Transamerica. In her role she provides
strategic direction and oversight to inclusion & diversity, talent review, succession planning, and performance management.
Evette has over 15 years of Talent Management, Inclusion and Diversity experience. While at Transamerica, she previously served as a Sr Manager in Talent Management and prior, a Human Resource Business Partner.
Evette joined Transamerica in 2018 from avionics and aerospace manufacturer Rockwell Collins, and prior to that served as head of multiculturalism and inclusion at national test maker ACT.
Evette is the Secretary of the Women Lead Change Board of Directors and serves on their EPIC advisory committee. She is a member of the Transamerica Institute Board of Directors and
represents Transamerica on the American Council of Life Insurers’ (ACLI) Diversity Equity and Inclusion Forum.
Evette is a recipient of both the Corridor Business Journal& #39;s 40 under 40 and Most Influential Leader award for the Iowa Corridor region. She has a BA in psychology and a Master’s in
Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa. While completing her degree, she served as Miss Black Iowa, USA.
In her free time, Evette serves in ministerial leadership at New City Church Cedar Rapids and provides mentorship to professional women and women of color to help them advance their career.
Evette lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with her husband, Martez and two daughters, Evie and Ezra.
She enjoys spending quality time with her family, serving her community, and watching her girls participate in extracurricular activities.
