✅Back Additions: Demolished

Phase 1 of the Thousand Islands Inn renovation is well underway, and we’re beginning to see some major transformations take shape!

As work progresses, layers of the original historic building are being revealed, uncovering incredible craftsmanship that has been hidden for decades.

And there’s much more to come. In the weeks ahead, the new rear addition will begin to take shape, and the iconic wraparound porch will make its long-awaited return!

We’re thrilled to see this building coming back to life and are grateful for the opportunity to be part of this project!

✨Intern Send Off✨

Our Civil Engineering team is proud to have welcomed Conner for the summer! Conner quickly became an invaluable part of the team, as he obtained his SWPPP Inspection Certification and was ready to conduct inspections independently just a few weeks after training!

Majoring in Civil Engineering at Clarkson University, Conner witnessed firsthand how his education can be applied both at the workplace and on job sites. Throughout his 12 weeks with A&C, he has supported the development of active projects through design, collaborated directly with contractors, and independently conducted several inspections throughout northern New York!

We are so proud of Conner and the growth he displayed throughout his internship. The A&C team wishes him well as he returns to Clarkson to continue pursuing his passion for engineering!

Intern Send Off ✨

This summer we had the pleasure of welcoming Megan to our Architecture department! Throughout her internship, she gained real world, hands-on experience with design software, participated in site visits, and got to join a project team to experience first-hand how the design process comes together.

Megan was a valued team member both inside and outside the office. She jumped right into engaging with the local community, joining us at the annual Career Jam and volunteering with the Jefferson County Dairy Parade!

We appreciate her contributions and dedication throughout her internship. The A&C team is wishing her well as she returns to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the fall where she will begin her journey of studying abroad in Italy!
