Will Todd joined the Mission team in July as a Sales Representative.

Will is an Athens native, born and raised. He graduated from Prince Avenue Christian School in 2019 and UGA in 2023 where he studied economics.

Before joining the mission team Will served on staff at Watkinsville First Baptist, helping to grow Watty College into one of the mainstream UGA ministries. In between graduating college and joining staff at WFBC, Will spent a year serving in South Asia as a cross-cultural missionary.

Will loves meeting new people and helping solve problems. He likes to spend his free time working in his yard and trying new restaurants. Will’s goal is to make a positive impact on people by working hard with a good attitude and having a heart for those in need.

We are so grateful to have Will on the Mission team!

One of our favorite parts of what we do is getting to partner with churches like Living Hope Athens and serve their congregation in a meaningful way. ⛪️

We recently had the opportunity to complete a full TPO roof replacement on the college and classroom section of the church. Now that all the UGA college students are back, they can gather for worship, Bible study, and fellowship with confidence knowing they have a brand-new roof over their heads.

We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a special project. It’s one we’ll cherish for a long time. Swipe to see what the roof looked like before it was replaced.

Meet DJ Curl!
DJ joined the Mission team in June of this year and is serving as a Sales Representative.

He and his wife, Kaylee, recently made Watkinsville home, where they are raising their two daughters, their goldendoodle, and eagerly awaiting the arrival of their third daughter this October.

DJ graduated from Charleston Southern University, where he played football, before earning a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Biblical Languages from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

At his core, he’s a people person who believes relationships matter more than transactions. He enjoys getting to know people, understanding their needs, and finding creative solutions that serve them well. DJ’s goal is not just to complete a project, but to earn trust and build lasting relationships.

Before joining Mission Construction, he was the first employee at Giant Sports Cards, helping grow the company into the fastest-growing business in the e-commerce and retail sectors on the 2024 Inc. 5000 list. That experience reinforced the value of hard work, great teams, and putting people first.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, discussing life’s big questions over coffee, and helping young adults pursue lives of greater purpose, health, and connection.

Have you noticed the newest restaurant taking shape in Watkinsville? Located off Hog Mountain Road is Brett’s Backyard, and it’s almost ready to welcome guests!

Mission Construction was proud to partner with Smith & Co. on this exciting project, installing a dual roofing system featuring both PVC and standing seam metal. 🛠️

We’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of another quality build and can’t wait to stop in for a meal once the doors open.
