IMPACT HARDEE 2026 | INVESTING IN OUR COMMUNITY
What an incredible way to begin a new school year!
This morning, Kinbro was proud to serve as a Gold Sponsor of the 2nd Annual Impact Hardee, welcoming the dedicated teachers, administrators and staff of the School Board of Hardee County back for another year of educating, encouraging and making a difference in the lives of our community’s children.
For Kinbro, supporting an event like Impact Hardee is about much more than sponsorship. Hardee County is home. It is where we live, where we work, where we raise our families and where so many of our employees and their families have planted their roots.
Kinbro President & CEO Thomas Treviño had the opportunity to speak this morning about something that is at the heart of who we are as a company — giving back to the communities that have given so much to us. No matter how far Kinbro’s work may take us, we believe there is a special responsibility to invest right here at home and in the people who are building Hardee County’s future.
We were also honored to hear from keynote speaker Damon West, whose remarkable story of adversity, redemption and transformation has inspired audiences around the world. Damon is a college professor, internationally known keynote speaker and bestselling author whose Coffee Bean message has reached schools, businesses, professional and collegiate athletic programs, and even the U.S. Army.
His message is simple, but powerful: Be the coffee bean.
When life turns up the heat and pressure, we have a choice. Rather than allowing our circumstances to change us, we can become like the coffee bean — changing the environment around us.
What an appropriate message for educators. Every single day, the men and women of Hardee County Schools have an opportunity to be that coffee bean — to positively influence a classroom, encourage a child, strengthen a family and ultimately change a community.
And speaking of making an IMPACT… congratulations to Zolfo Springs Elementary School for bringing the ENERGY and taking home the 2026 Impact Hardee Spirit Stick! Judging by the celebration, we’re pretty sure they wanted everyone in the room to know exactly where that Spirit Stick was headed!
To every teacher, administrator, support professional, bus driver, custodian, food service worker and staff member beginning another school year: thank you. What you do matters, and the impact you make reaches far beyond the walls of a school.
