Updates on Throughlight in Madison, Wisconsin!

Set on the relaxed open landscape of The Prairie at Bishops Bay, this modern prairie home uses long, low rooflines and a predominantly single-level plan to mirror the horizontal character of its surroundings. Silver-toned wood siding and light grey stone will create a restrained exterior palette, and expansive east-facing windows bring morning light deep into the home. Rising above the main roofline is one exception to the home’s grounded profile. A second-story office, nicknamed the “crow’s nest,” will have 360-degree views across the surrounding prairie and distant tree lines.

KISS. Keep it simple, silly. Not every bathroom needs a plot twist.

It looks like a simple kitchen with three or four colors... It isn't. Look closer...

Rattan. Limestone. Blue leather. Walnut. Polished nickel. Black metal. A touch of gold.

Texture, finish, material, sheen, patina. They're all doing a little more work than you might think. A quiet palette doesn't have to be a boring one.

Simply grateful.

We’ve been named Madison Magazine's Best of Madison Bronze Winner in the Home Builder category. To be recognized by the community we’ve had the privilege of building and remodeling homes for since 1893 is a wonderful reminder of why we love what we do... and gives us plenty of reason to keep doing it.

We’re grateful to our clients, our team, and everyone who took the time to vote for us.

Cheers.
