Celebrating the Team Behind the Power
Administrative Professionals Day – April 22

When you think of an electric cooperative, you may picture lineworkers in the field—but there’s another team working just as hard behind the scenes.

For many members, their journey with PGEC begins with a simple phone call.

It’s the friendly voice in Member Services answering questions about new service. It’s someone patiently walking through how to set up an account, explaining billing cycles, or helping a member understand their usage. It’s the reassurance on the other end of the line during an outage.

That first call may seem small — but it’s the beginning of bringing power to a home, a farm, or a business.

Behind that one interaction is a coordinated effort across multiple departments, each playing a critical role in making sure the lights come on.

From setting up new accounts to supporting operations, managing systems, and keeping members informed, their work is essential to powering your home, farm, or business every single day.

Today, we celebrate the administrative professionals at PGEC—the friendly voices on the phone, the problem-solvers, the organizers, and the communicators who help keep everything running smoothly.

They may not always be seen, but their impact is felt in every connection we make.

👏 Join us in saying thank you to the team behind the power—your dedication keeps PGEC strong and member-focused.

🌎🌱 Happy Earth Day from Prince George Electric Cooperative!

Every year on April 22, we’re reminded that protecting our planet is a shared responsibility—but at PGEC, it’s a commitment we carry forward every single day.

As your member-owned cooperative, we live and work right here in the communities we serve. That means we’re dedicated to balancing reliable, affordable power with protecting our natural resources for future generations. From behind-the-scenes system improvements to energy efficiency initiatives, we’re always working toward a cleaner, brighter tomorrow.

Small actions—like saving energy, reducing waste, and being mindful of how we use electricity—can make a big impact when we all work together.

Let’s celebrate Earth Day by continuing to power our communities responsibly—today and every day.
