180 cubic Yards of concrete being laid down for the barrier wall on the Satilla Bridge. Last pour before they get ready to shift traffic to the new bridge and start demolition on the old one that traffic is on right now.

We at Scruggs Concrete Block & Brick Company Waycross are saddened at the passing of our fellow co worker and friend JB Merritt. He will be missed and never forgotten by us all. Prayers and our deepest sympathies to his family and close Friends.

UPDATED:

The arms of our loving Lord now surround the family of the late Mr. J.B. Merritt of Waycross, Ga. Mr. Merritt was born on June 26, 1953 and on March 19, 2023, at the age of 69, God saw fit to call him from this walk of life.

Life Celebration Services will be held Saturday April 1, 2023 at 2:00pm at Church of Christ Written in Heaven. Family and Friends Fellowship hour will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 at Harrington Family Chapel from 5:00pm - 7:00pm.
