PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: CLASS A/B RIP RAP

This week's product spotlight focuses on some of our largest rock, Class A/B rip rap!

Riprap is a layer of large stones that protects soil from erosion in areas of high or concentrated flows. It is especially useful for armoring channel and ditch banks, among other features. As seen in the photos below, we commonly place it along river/creek banks. Rip rap can also be used for larger structural pads. Rip rap works by slowing the flow of water by forcing it to navigate through the rocks and to hold sediment in place to prevent erosion.

Class A rip rap is classified as 12"-18" stone
Class B rip rap is classified as 18"-24" stone

Currently we sell Class A for $14.64/ton, and Class B for $15.64/ton. Delivery is available! Call us Mon-Fri from 6AM-4PM for a FREE quote on delivery. Don't have the equipment to move the rock? PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT - BASE

This is our first of many product spotlights, so why not start at the most commonly used product we provide? Base Rock!

Base is considered a densely graded blend of coarse and fine aggregate and is most commonly used in pathway and driveway construction. When compacted, base rock provides excellent stabilization underneath structures like patios, slabs, parking lots, sidewalks and roadways.

We currently sell Base at a rate of $9.64 per ton. Delivery is available, call for a FREE quote based on your location.

Due to inclement weather, Wayne County Rock will be closed on the quarry side tomorrow, Monday Jan 15. We will still be offering driveway/parking lot clearing to both public and business properties. Should you have tree damage due to the weather, check in with us to see if we can help. Call 931-332-4077 and speak with Phillip for a free quote on this. As of now our skid steer will be the only equipment available.

With the possibility of inclement weather this coming week, we would like to remind everyone that we do offer parking lot/driveway clearing with large amounts of snow/ice. This service is quoted per-job. For a free quote please call 931-332-4077 and speak with Phillip Pope.
