Understanding R-Value 🧐

R-Value is the rating system used to grade insulation products or a material's insulating properties. The “R” stands for “resistance” and refers to the resistance a material has to heat flow, or temperature conduction. When a product or home has a high R-Value, this means it is well insulated.

The injection foam we use can greatly improve the R-Value from your old insulation, and in turn, save you money on electric bills!

Injection foam never loses its shape once injected into the cavity of the wall. Other materials such as fiberglass insulation, or cellulose may settle over time whereas injection foam will maintain its shape.

Easy Clean Up 👏

Many times we get asked if the foam will leave any stains, and the answer is no! The foam is a water based material that is easily swept off making clean up quick and easy as Dale describes in this video.

The holes we drill to inject foam insulation are smaller than a quarter, closer to the size of a dime . Once the hole is filled, we patch it, and you have a newly insulated home!

The 2nd photo is a freshly patched hole that is still drying. Once dry, the untrained eye will have a tough time finding where we drilled!
